Picture Point is a favorite for portraits, but it’s important to plan around the lighting. From about 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, the light here can be very bright and direct causing shadows from the beautiful trees. If you do not mind it then its perfect. With the right timing and experienced Photo team like us, it’s still beautiful but it’s something to be aware of when planning your timeline.
Surrounding Walkways & Bridge
Some of the most meaningful photos actually happen in the quieter spaces nearby. These areas allow for more natural, candid moments that feel relaxed and real. But we can also do editorial.

Just keep in mind that lighting becomes bright fairly quickly, especially at Picture Point.
Midday Ceremonies (12 PM – 3 PM)
These times are doable, but lighting is at its strongest. It requires more planning to avoid harsh shadows and bright highlights, especially in open areas.
Best Timing: 5:00 PM & 7:00 PM Ceremonies
If your goal is soft, romantic light and a more emotional atmosphere, 5:00 PM and 7:00 PM are the best options. This is when everything starts to feel warmer, calmer, and more connected.
Planning an EPCOT Dessert Party After Your Pavilion Wedding
If you’re thinking about ending your day with a dessert party at EPCOT, this is something to plan carefully.
A 7:00 PM ceremony can make the timeline feel rushed. You’ll need to move quickly through your ceremony and portraits to make it to EPCOT before fireworks at 9PM usually you cannot leave the pavilion later than 8:20 PM.
If a dessert party is important to you, choosing an earlier ceremony time will give you more space to actually enjoy both experiences without feeling like you’re racing the clock.
