The Walt Disney Company has just confirmed the launch of its seventh global theme park resort, and this time, it’s heading to the stunning waterfront of Yas Island in Abu Dhabi. Since Disneyland first opened its gates in Anaheim, California in 1955, the world has fallen in love with Disney’s timeless stories and unforgettable characters. Over the years, Disney has expanded to six other destinations:
- Disneyland Resort (California, USA)
- Walt Disney World Resort (Florida, USA)
- Tokyo Disney Resort (Japan)
- Disneyland Paris (France)
- Hong Kong Disneyland (China)
- Shanghai Disney Resort (China)
Now, Disneyland Abu Dhabi will take its place among these beloved destinations, bringing Disney’s first-ever theme park to the Middle East.
