Diazia and Naieem got married at Paradise Cove on a Saturday in March. Their groomsmen arrived by boat. A harpist played while the sun started to dip over Lake Bryan. And somewhere between the ceremony and the last dance, there were alpacas at cocktail hour.
Paradise Cove sits right on Lake Bryan, tucked into a private corner of Buena Vista Watersports just a couple miles from Disney Springs. It’s tropical in a way nowhere else in Orlando is, with a tiki bar, palm trees, and a private white sand beach.
The space holds up to 300 guests, indoors and outdoors, with the whole venue exclusively yours for the day. There’s no on-site lodging, so most couples put their wedding party up nearby and treat the venue itself as the destination.
A few things make Paradise Cove genuinely one of a kind. The Boat Entrance, the one Naieem used, is a signature of theirs. So is the 1973 VW Bus photobooth. We always tell couples here to lean into what makes this venue different instead of working against it.
Naieem and his groomsmen didn’t walk in. They arrived by boat, all the way across Lake Bryan, while their harpist played the first song of the day. It’s one of those details you plan for months and then watch unfold in under two minutes. We made sure we caught every second of it.

Diazia got ready in the Lakeside Suite, a bungalow just steps from the ceremony site. Big windows, natural light, mirrors everywhere. It’s one of our favorite spaces to shoot in at Paradise Cove because the light does most of the work for us.

They said their vows under a geometric arbor dressed in blush and ivory florals, with the beach and the lake behind them. 132 guests watched. Diazia chose personal vows instead of a traditional reading, and she skipped the presentation of the bride. Small choices like that tell us a lot about a couple before we ever meet them.

One chair in the second row held a memorial sign. We don’t ask about the story behind it. We just make sure we capture it with the same care as everything else. Weddings hold grief and joy at the same time more often than people expect, and it’s part of our job to honor both.

Gold chiavari chairs. Crystal chandeliers. A floating cake table under draped ceiling fabric. The reception at Paradise Cove felt built around them, not pulled from a template. When the DJ played their first dance, followed by a father daughter dance and a mother son dance, the whole tent felt like one room instead of 132 separate guests.

Alpacas showed up for cocktail hour. A boho truck served a welcome drink, then came back later in the night with Chick fil A for anyone still dancing. These are the kind of details that never show up in a venue brochure. They show up because two people built a day that actually sounded like them.

Every wedding is a team effort, and this one had a great one.
If your wedding day sounds anything like this one, even a little, we would love to chat with you.
